Tali, Estonia

Tali ( German: Freyhof ) was an Estonian rural community in the southern part of the district of Pärnu with an area of 194 km ². In 2005, she was merged with the rural community and the City of Saarde Kilingi - Nõmme the new community Saarde.

Tali is on the border with Latvia, about 65 kilometers from Pärnu. The rural community had 815 inhabitants on 1 January 2004. In addition to the main town of Tali, it includes the villages Laiksaare, Lanksaare, Marina, Pihke, Reinu, Tuuliku, Veelikse and Viisireiu.

Forest covers 61 % of the municipality. The nature reserve of Nigula attracts with its untouched nature many visitors.
