Talke (originally Talk O ' Th' Hill ) is a village in England in the county of Staffordshire. Talke is located about six kilometers north- west of Newcastle -under- Lyme and was mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Book as Talc.

Talke in 1932 became a separate parish and after the spin-off from the Urban District Audley as a separate parish in the Urban District Kidsgrove, which was later incorporated to Newcastle -under- Lyme. In Talke there used to be two mines, but were anfgegeben. Today Talke is mainly a bedroom community.

Anne Marsh has spent many years of their lives in Talke. At the " St. Martin's " Church is attached to her honor, a memorial stone.
