Tamara Bach

Tamara Bach ( born January 18, 1976 in Limburg ad Lahn) is a German writer.

Life

Tamara Bach was born in 1976 in Limburg an der Lahn and grew up in Ludwigshoehe, Rhineland -Palatinate. It was promoted by Critical their former German teacher Peter Grosz. 1993 and 1995 she participated in the prestigious meeting some young authors, on which it was also excellent. After graduation in 1995 an au pair stay followed in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. In 1996 she began to study in Mainz, after 3 semesters, she moved in 1997 to Berlin, where she has lived ever since. She studied at the Free University in German and English to become a teacher, graduating from the beginning of 2006. Besides her studies, she worked for television and developed youth plays.

Mars girl is her first book. It was in 2002 awarded the Oldenburg Child and Youth Book Prize for the best unpublished manuscript, 2004, as the German Youth Literature Prize. They also wrote bus ride with Kuhn, which was also nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize. 2007 she released her debut as an audiobook version, read by Sandra Huell.

For now here she also won the LYNX in 2007 ( November). Her book which was toad of the Month in April 2012 from the summer is left.
