Tambon

Tambon ( in Thai: ตำบล ) are administrative units below the districts ( Amphoe ) in Thailand, comparable to the communities in the German administration. The corresponding administrative level, ie in the capital Bangkok Kwaeng ( แขวง ), which is below the Khet ( เขต - comparable to the Amphoe ) are.
