Tamilla Abassova
Tamilla Raschidowna Abassowa (Russian Тамилла Рашидовна Абасова; born December 19, 1982 in Moscow) is a former Russian track cyclist and seven-time European champion.
1999 Tamilla Abassowa had her first major international success when it was vice-world champion in the junior sprint. By 2006, it was seven times European champion in sprint, Keirin and in the 500m time trial. In addition, it won several races at UCI Track Cycling World Cup.
At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens Abassowa won the silver medal in the sprint and also at the Track World Championships in 2005 in Los Angeles.
