Tänassilma, Viljandi County

Tänassilma ( German Tennasilm ) is a village (Estonian küla ) in Viljandi County in Estonia. It belongs to the rural community Viiratsi. Tänassilma has 160 inhabitants. The place is located between the river and Tänassilma the road between Tartu and Viljandi, about 15 kilometers east of Viljandi.

In Tänassilma there is a village hall, a primary school and a post office. Tänassilma is best known for his former Orthodox church. Despite some renovations since the 1980s, the historic building is now in poor condition and is empty.
