The Tangelnsche creek is a tributary of the Jeetze.

Parts of the river are part of the nature reserve Beetz villages Bruchwald and Tangelnscher Bach, the ecological network Natura 2000 and reported as a conservation area. The creek rises near Mellin and ends in the region Beetzendorf in the Jeetze.

Proved are natural flow occurrence of brook lamprey and brown trout in the adjacent alder-ash woodland salamander and Kingfisher are located.
