Tanya Byron

Tanya Byron (born 1967 ) is a British psychologist.

Biography

Her father was the director John Sichel. She is married to actor Bruce Byron, who is known from the British police series The Bill. Together they have two children: Lily and Jack.

She is patron of Prospex, a charity foundation for young people in North London.

Byron has been present since 2004/5 expert in the educational programs of the BBC Little Angels and the House of Tiny Tearaways. Little Angels was in German-speaking BBC's exclusive broadcast on VOX under the title Little Angel - broadcast how to educate parents. She has published books on the subject of education.

In November 2006, the BBC announced that Byron will moderate a version of the program the House of Tiny Tearaways for the U.S. channel The Learning Channel.
