Tarık Akan
Tarık Akan ( born December 13, 1949 in Istanbul; civil Tarık Tahsin Üregül ) is a Turkish actor.
Life
Akan is the youngest of three siblings. His father was an officer, so the family moved in his youth very often inside Turkey has to offer. The elementary school he started in Dumlupınar and finished it in Kayseri. After the father retired, the family settled in Istanbul. Akan studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Yildiz. Subsequently, he studied journalism.
Akan desired but after a career as an actor and made his debut in 1971 in the film Solan Bir Yaprak Gibi. Until about 1975, he starred in numerous comedies and commercial films. Later he turned to more political works and has performed in Yol - The path and sürü - The herd.
His military service he rendered in 1979 in Denizli. After the military coup of 1980, he was convicted of a speech which he had held in Frankfurt on 23 May 1981 made under Article 140 of the TPC in court. The Military Prosecutor demands called for 6 years and 8 months in prison. In addition there was a method to a peace club. Here the requirement was 12 years imprisonment. Akan was sentenced to 2.5 months of solitary confinement.
In 1986 he married, from the marriage had three children. In 1989, the couple separated.
In 2002 he wrote a book entitled Anne kafamda bit var In it, he tells about the time after the military coup.
