Tasawaq is one in Niger from 8000 sedentary living people (as of 1998) spoken northern Songhai language.

It is divided into the spoken to Ingall Ingelsi and the now extinct language of Agadez. Most closely related to it is with the Algerian- Moroccan border in Tabelbala also spoken of sedentary Korandje.
