Tata Indigo

The Tata Indigo is a subcompact car, manufactured by Tata Motors in India since 2002. This is the saloon and estate versions of the Indica.

1st generation "Indigo" and "Indigo Marina" (from 2002)

Indigo sedan

In 2002, Tata before the sedan Indigo. The car was designed by in-house designers and introduced the sedan version of the Indica represents the two vehicles have a large number of identical parts. The Indigo is often referred to as a "luxury car of the worker ".

Indigo SX

2005 Tata Indigo brought the SX, a luxury version of the normal indigo out. It features a leather steering wheel, leather seats, power mirrors, CD player, LCD screens in the front head restraints, along with the basic equipment, such as power steering, electric windows and central locking. Its competitors are the Honda City, the Hyundai Accent and the Suzuki SX4 / Maruti Swift Dzire.

Indigo XL

The Indigo XL is sold since January 2007. This is the long version of the sedan with an extended wheelbase by 200 mm and 101 bhp engine. The petrol model has an engine with two overhead camshafts, 16 valves and multi-point fuel injection ( MPFI ). The diesel has a DICOR engine.

Indigo CS

At the auto show in New Delhi presented Tata Indigo CS before 2008. " CS " means Compact Sedan and the car is the fastest sedan in the world. For the Indigo CS is to be paid in India less luxury tax, making it more economical.

Indigo Marina

The combined model is called presented Indigo Marina ( in some export markets also Indigo SW) and was presented at the Auto Show in New Delhi in 2004.

Indigo Marina Advent

Also since 2004 Tata supplies similar to the Fiat Adventure Indigo Marina Advent, a soft roader.

Motors

2nd generation ( "Indigo Manza ", from 2009)

Since 2009 there is a notchback version of the Indica 2nd generation.
