Action

Background

Wajda wanted to film a text of Polish author Olga Tokarczuk in a second part of the film originally in addition to the narrative Tatarak of Iwaszkiewicz. During the filming, however, Krystyna Janda main actress gave him a text she had written about the death of her husband. Wajda asked her if this text was meant strictly for him privately or whether they would be willing to discuss this text in front of a camera. Krystyna Janda said that they would be willing to do so.
