Taube family

Dove is the name of an originally German - Baltic, later widespread noble family.

History

Whether the dove family is originally from Denmark or from Westphalia to recent German literature can not be inferred, there the dove are called Baltic nobility. Although at least in Denmark and the Danish Estonia namesakes Tuve be mentioned in documents in the 13th century, is generally the squire Engelke Tuve, which occurs in Wierland on 24 August 1373 considered the oldest evidence of a relative.

The five parent companies ( Hallinap, Isenhof, Maidel, Oehrten and Seßwegen ) can be documented not unite to a common ancestor, but each begin in the 15th century. The family has branches starting from the Baltic to Sweden, Poland, Finland, Russia, Denmark and the German Reich in Saxony and Prussia. Certain branches bear the title of Baron, surveys in the Barons and count conditions are carried out several times.

Coat of arms

The root coat of arms shows in gold uprooted a natural Lindenstumpf with two green leaves, one each on each side. On the helmet with black -and-gold ceiling a natural peacock tail between two gestümmelten natural linden branches, each with a green leaf.
