The Taubenkogel is a 2301m high mountain views of the Dachstein Mountains in Upper Austria northeast of Hallstatt glacier. He can be reached by the terminus of the Dachstein cable car to the Gjaidalm or Simonyhütte from.

From the summit offers in fine weather, a good view of the Hoher Dachstein, the Gjaidstein and Hallstatt glacier.
