Taubensee (Kössen/Unterwössen)

The Taubensee is an approximately 3.6 -acre endorheic lake in the German -Austrian border on the territory of the municipalities Kössen (corresponding to the homonymous cadastral ) and Unterwoessen ( district Oberwössen ). The state line passes through the longitudinal axis of the lake. With a water level of 1,138 meters above sea level it is one of the highest lakes in Germany.
