Location

The summit is the northwestern foothills of the Ore Mountains Plateau and rises against this only marginally (about 9 meters). However, it falls towards the valley of the Great Mittweida to the northeast at about 250 meters from. Located along this slope the Taufichtig after the summit named a nature reserve. Near the Taufichtigs there was today's deserted village heritage village.

Way to the summit

The mountain can be reached via the yellow- marked trail Crottendorf - Tellerhäuser that touches the top and makes accessible the conservation area for walkers. There are other small ways to the summit away from the major migration routes.
