Tavush Province

Tavush, also Tavusch or Tavush (Armenian Տավուշի մարզ, in scientific transliteration Tavowši marz ( province of Tavush ) ) is a province in the north- eastern part of Armenia. The province has an area of ​​2704 km ².

In Tavush about 121 963 people ( as of 2002). The capital is Ijevan, more cities are Dilijan and Berd. The province is bordered by Georgia and Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani exclaves encloses the Barxudarlı and Yuxarı Əskipara.
