Taxiride

Taxi Ride are a rock band founded in 1997 in Australia. Their music is based, according to their own statements of bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Deep Purple, Yes, Queens of the Stone Age, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead and INXS.

Band History

Taxi ride started to write songs at in 1997. After they got a recording contract with Warner Music Australia in 1998, things really took off. Even the first album Imaginate reached # 1 on the Australian charts and got the double - platinum status. In 2001, the band worked on your second album Garage Mahal, which was then published in 2002 and it also managed the Top 5. After a tour through Europe and Japan, the band members returned to the studio in 2004 to work on the next album Axiomatic, which was not released in Europe. 2006 saw the album Electrophobia world.
