Content

The student Leonard Helperman is surprised when he finds that his dog Spot is the new kid Scott Leandready. The dog feels a higher calling and therefore dresses up as a boy. This causes problems, because Leonard's mother is also his teacher and can not learn the secret of the new student. Scott is also still very popular, especially with Leonard's secret love Leslie Dunkling.

The series was broadcast on 9 September 2000 until May 10, 2002 in the U.S. by ABC. In German the German Disney Channel Original Air Date was from 15 September 2001. Broadcast on Super RTL followed from 1 January 2004. Later radiations followed by the transmitter ORF1, SF1, and Toon Disney.

The series is a movie released in 2004 under the title of Disney's Teacher's Pet: The Movie.
