Team Sleep

The band Team Sleep can be considered as a side project of Chino Moreno, the lead singer of the band Deftones. It work with Todd Wolkinson (guitar), Zach Hill ( drums), Rick Verrett (bass ) and DJ Crook ( turntables ), who had already worked appeared on the song Lucky You on the 2003 self-titled Deftones album. The delayed release date for their debut album was set to the 9 May 2005, after her record label Maverick decided to take even start some promotions for the album.

Two years earlier, an album was recorded once before, which was never published. One suspects that it was because it was offered on the Internet long before the official release date. Here also had some guests such as Mike Patton, Melissa Auf der Maur or several Deftones members.

The 2005 debut was published alongside the lesser known guest vocalists Mary Timony and Rob Crow, no other guest musicians. Briefly described, the music moves in the electronic field. The vocals are contributed by Chino Moreno here. In summary their songs can be described as soulful, quiet and alternatively in the electronic context, with rehearsed guitar riffs can be heard in several songs.
