Tebbutt (crater)

Tebbutt is an impact crater on the eastern edge of the lunar front side, near the southwestern edge of Mare Crisium, south of the crater Lick and west of Shapley. The rim is very badly eroded and largely leveled, the crater is therefore only poorly discernible.

The crater was officially named in 1973 by the IAU by the Australian astronomer John Tebbutt.
