The Technical University of Cluj- Napoca (also:. Technical University of Cluj, Universitatea rum Tehnicǎ din Cluj-Napoca ) is a technical university in the Romanian city of Cluj- Napoca, with around 12,000 students, the second largest of its kind in Romania. 2010 North University of Baia Mare was incorporated. The number of students rose by 18,000 to approx. After a reform of the Romanian higher education system in 2011, the University of Cluj- Napoca is one of only 11 Romanian universities at which a doctoral degree can be acquired. It has also been classified as part of a certification agency ARACIS as a " University for scientific research," which is a prerequisite for an application right in the newly established research funding system in Romania.
At the Technical University of Cluj -Napoca, there is a German- course " Industrial Engineering ", which is operated with the support of the University of Stuttgart and the financial support by the DAAD.
