The Techno Alpin AG, with headquarters in Bolzano, South Tyrol is a company for manual and fully automatic snowmaking systems. There is a world leader in the production of artificial snow system.

History

In the early 1980s imported Georg Eisath and Walter Rieder, manager in the skiing area Obereggen, a snow guns from America. Based on this model, they built themselves a first prototype. The two founded the company WI.TE and started producing machines in greater numbers. In the Italian ski resort Cortina, Falcade and Valzoldana the first facilities were built. 1988 there was with the company Schneider in Seefeld, Austria, the first foreign mission.

In 1990, the snow guns Latemar M90 was put on the market. After the sales went, Eisath and Rieder brought the merchant Erich Gummerer the company. Together they founded in 1990 the company Techno Alpin GmbH. In 1996, the Techno Alpin, the first subsidiaries in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In 2005 the company was converted into a public limited company. Today, the company has a global network of seven branches and 18 trading partners. 250 employees work for Technoalpin Worldwide. 2008/2009, the Company exceeded for the first time the 100 - million - euro turnover mark.

Technical innovations

2005, the Investment & Development rose for the first time in research to more than 1 million euros. Were placed on the market in 2010, the new propeller aircraft T40 (automatic) and MTS (manual), and the lances V2 and V3.

Services

Technoalpin projects and realizes complete manual and fully automatic snowmaking systems. Therefore, in addition to snowmaking facilities include manholes, electric sockets, cooling towers, valves, meteorological stations, line material and the control software ATASSplus product range from Techno Alpin.
