Project history

First time in 2007 the production of local receivers was organized for the reception of satellite and terrestrial television in Russia. After a few months, the General Satellite Corporation to build a consumer electronics plant in Gusev has begun. Already in 2008, the Head of Administration of the Municipality Gusev Nikolay Zukanow and the President of the General Satellite Corporation Andrey Tkachenko, have signed the Agreement on the establishment in the city of a modern technology park. The idea was approved by the local authorities and presented at the International Investment Forum "Sochi -2008".

The decision on the placement of new production facilities in Gusev, in the words of Andrei Tkachenko, was taken for two reasons. First, there were in the city efficient production on the basis of the special economic zone, as the official resident of the corporation is valid. In addition, the city authorities want to willingly participate in the project for the construction of a technology park because they are interested in the development of their region.

2009 two works were - OAO NPO ZTS and OOO Prankor opened, which is unparalleled production in Russia. In the works are receivers for satellite and terrestrial TV, by means of a conveyor belt, the entire production cycle is ensured: motherboad of production to housing production, and produces satellite antennas. Previously, the majority of such devices has been imported to the Russian market from abroad, usually from China. After the declaration of the project the production of receivers has already reached 2% of world volume.

  • Complex economic development of the city Gusev, improve their social infrastructure and living conditions, create conditions for the development of innovation activity in the city and the transformation of the city Gusev up to 2013 in a Technopolis
  • Establish a cluster of electronics industry in the town of Gusev. The project envisages to build seven high-tech production plants, four of which are already in operation.
  • Testing of the model for innovation development of a small town in Russia, which can be used due to project results for the development of other small towns of the country.
