Teddy Da Costa

Teddy Da Costa ( born February 17, 1986 in Melun ) is a French- Polish ice hockey player standing since 2011 with GKS Tychy in Poland Ekstraliga under contract. His brothers Gabriel and Stéphane are also hockey players.

Career

Teddy Da Costa began his career as a hockey player in his native France in the junior department of Viry Essonne Hockey. From there he moved to the 2004/05 season for Gap Hockey Club, for whom he made ​​his debut in professional hockey this season, when he was in the Ligue Magnus came in a total of 24 games for use, in which he scored ten goals and four assists gave. From 2005 to 2010 played the Center for Zagłębie Sosnowiec in the Polish Playoff Final. He then returned to France, where he signed a contract with the top club Rouen Hockey Élite received for the 2010/11 season 76. With this he immediately won the double of league title and Coupe de France.

For the 2011/12 season he was engaged by GKS Tychy from the Playoff Final.

Internationally

For France, Da Costa took the junior level at the U18 Junior B World Championships in 2003 and 2004 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2005 and 2006 in part.

In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the World Championships in 2011 and 2012.
