Teinach

The Teinach is a 15.4 km long river in the Black Forest in Baden- Württemberg, the district Teinachtal from the left and west flows into the Nagold the Bad Teinach- Zavelsteiner.
Geography
The Teinach rises in the forest north of Neuweiler to about 660 m above sea level. NN and runs on the surrounding plateau initially southward, where it crosses the center of the municipality. At the wastewater treatment plant to the village she has dug in the valley in which it then moves on here east; from here to the mouth is the small town Neubulach right neighbors. Your valley is forested deeper than the surrounding plain and largely up to 200 m. Except by Neuweiler the Teinach flows only through the town of Bad Teinach. In between are some lonely farms and sawmills.
Along the way, Teinach of many springs and streams fed, the larger are Eitelsbach, Lautenbach, Rötenbach and Dürrbach. The hydrological catchment area of 61.5 km ² Teinach measures.
Economy
Between Neuweiler and Bad Teinach lie at the Teinach the Weikenmühle, glass mill, the Dachshof and Lautenbachhof. Upstream of these courts can be found mostly artificial Mühlbäche that served earlier to drive mill wheels. Today they are used in part or to generate electricity using turbines. Only the Weikenmühle and the glass grinder today (2011) still in a sawmill operation.
