Teleorman County

Teleorman is a Romanian county ( Judet ) in the Walachia region, with the county town Alexandria. The license plate number and the common abbreviation for the circle are TR.

The circle Teleorman bordered to the north by the counties of Arges and Dâmboviţa, on the east by the Giurgiu County, to the south by Bulgaria and to the west by the Olt County.

The county has a total area of ​​5872 km ², equivalent to 2.46 % of the area of Romania.

Located in the Great Wallachia in the south of Romania, opens in the south of the district of the river Olt (Alt ) in the Danube River, which separates the circle to a length of about 90 km to Bulgaria.
