History

Until the 1980s, the German Federal Post Office Telephones joined not by plug and socket, but there was a wall jack to which the connection cable was screwed. For every change had to an official of the post come and push the screwdriver. The phones were not to buy on the open market, but were all owned by the Federal Post.
