Teleplan International N.V. is a listed service provider in the field of technology and electronic solutions. The company headquarters is located in Amsterdam. With a further 22 service locations in Europe, America, Asia and Australia Teleplan employs nearly 5,600 people worldwide.

Teleplan's services range goes from pure repairs on renovation work and logistics services to recycling of electronic equipment. The customers of Teleplan are, inter alia, Manufacturers, insurance companies and retail chains.

History

Regional beginnings

Teleplan was founded in 1983 in Griesheim near Frankfurt am Main. Originally rendered Teleplan Service services in broadcasting equipment for radio and television. Teleplan's expertise in measurement and test procedures as well as control procedures provided the necessary basis to meet the requirements of the then booming computer and PC industry and clients such as Sony or HP justice in the 1980s.

By 1990, Teleplan focused on regional expansion to accept larger orders. At the same time the know- how has been constantly expanded and developed in-house software to control the service process can holistically. Teleplan has developed into one of the most important companies in the German market in the field of CRT Monitor Repairs with a rapidly increasing number of major European customers.

International expansion

International expansion marked the next phase in the company's history. To this end, numerous companies were acquired and purchased in Europe.

In 1998, the company moved to the Netherlands and brought the company to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in Germany.

Teleplan was one of the "classics" from the Neuer Markt. In November 1998, the stock started to 11.50 euros converted into the trade. In times of the dotcom bubble, the stock rose to 60 euros, then they fell due to overvaluation coupled with management errors to 0.34 euros.

Restructuring

As of 2002, the company split from numerous previous acquisitions.

In 2004, a refinancing, which was worn by a few major shareholders. As part of the refinancing in June 2005 was followed by a capital increase. A further capital increase of 10 percent of the capital took place two years later (2007) to increase the cash.

The restructuring of Teleplan was completed in 2009, which was also the most profitable year in the company's history. Early December 2010 it was announced that the private equity house Gilde Equity wants to take over the Teleplan for 154 million euros.
