Tempest (UK band)
Tempest was a British jazz-rock band.
History
John Hiseman, drummer Colosseum, founded the band in 1972. The first line-up was with singer Paul Williams ( John Mayall 's Blue -makers), Mark Clarke (formerly Colosseum and Uriah Heep ) and the jazz legend Allan Holdsworth completely. Following the release of the debut album " Tempest " Williams left the band for him came Ollie Halsall, who had already worked with Brian Eno. The second album "Living in Fear " was released in 1974.
1975 broke the band up and Hiseman founded Colosseum II
2005 "Living in Fear: The Anthology " was released as a retrospective on the work of the band.
