Temple of the Six Banyan Trees

The pagoda of the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees (Chinese六榕 寺塔, Pinyin Liurong si ta) is the Pagoda of Liurong Temple in Guangzhou (Canton) in southern China's Guangdong province. The temple was founded in the year 537 of the Liang dynasty in the period of the Southern Dynasties, at first he was Baozhuangyan si宝 庄严 寺. Its pagoda was destroyed by fire and was rebuilt in the time of the Northern Song Dynasty in the style of the time.

The octagonal, built of wood and brick tower style pagoda has nine floors and is 57 meters high.

The pagoda of the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees ( Liurong si ta) is on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-681 ) since 2006.
