Temuera Morrison

Temuera Derek Morrison ( born December 26, 1960 in Rotorua, New Zealand) is a New Zealand actor with Māori ancestors.

Biography

Morrison was born as the son of Hana Stafford and musician Laurie Morrison. He grew up in Rotorua, a popular tourist destination in New Zealand. He spent his school years at the Wesley College and Western Heights High School, Rotarura. He has six sisters; his only brother, Howard Morrison died in 1975. His uncle, the well-known New Zealand entertainer Sir Howard Morrison, was very engaged in social work for children with Māori origin.
