Teodor Salparov

Teodor Salparow ( Bulgarian Теодор Салпаров, English transcription: Teodor Salparov; born August 16, 1982 in Gabrovo ) is a Bulgarian volleyball player.

Career

Salparow played until 2004 at CSKA Sofia. He then moved to the Russian League and played one season at VK sucking Moscow and Gazprom - Ugra Surgut ZSK. 2006 reached the Libero with the Bulgarian national team to third place at the World Championships. He was then obliged by VK Dynamo Moscow. Dynamo won the 2007 National Cup and was runner-up. With Bulgaria Salparow finished third in the World Cup. He then played again in Sofia. At the Olympic Games in 2008, Bulgaria came with Salparow the quarter-finals and thus to fifth place. The 2009 European Championship ended for the national team in third place. Then Salparow played one more year with Dynamo Moscow. Since 2010 he is back at CSKA Sofia. In 2012, he reached London with Bulgaria at his second Olympic tournament in fourth place.
