Terence Higgins, Baron Higgins

Terence Langley Higgins, Baron Higgins KBE DL PC ( born January 18, 1928) is a former Conservative British politician and silver medalist at the Commonwealth Games.

Higgins was from 1964 to 1979 deputy in the House of Commons for the constituency of Worthing, and 1972-1974 Minister of Finance.

He served from 1946 to 1948 in the Royal Air Force and was a member of the British Olympic teams of 1948 and 1952. 1997, he was raised as Baron Higgins for Life Peer. In 1993 he received the Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire.
