Rosalyn Higgins

Dame Rosalyn Higgins, DBE ( born June 2, 1937 in London) is a British legal scholar. From 1995 to 2009 she was a judge at the International Court of Justice in The Hague and from 2006 to 2009 its president.

Life

After studying law at Cambridge and Yale, the specialist worked for international law at various institutes in England, and eventually taught at the Universities of Kent and London.
