Terence O'Connor

Sir Terence James O'Connor (* September 13, 1891, † May 7, 1940 ) was a Conservative politician in the United Kingdom.

He was elected in the election of 1924 for the electoral district of Luton in the House of Commons, but lost his seat in the elections in October 1929 against the Liberal candidate Leslie Burgin.

O'Connor returned but already seven months later by -election in District Nottingham Central in Parliament back and held this seat until his early death.

He was from 1936 until his death in 1940, Attorney General for England and Wales. In 1936, he received the dignity of Knights.
