Teviot Row House

Teviot Row House ( colloquially referred to simply as " Teviot ") is a building of the Student Federation of the University of Edinburgh and is located on Bristo Square, Edinburgh. The building is from the Student Federation of the University of Edinburgh University Student's Association ( EUSA ), operated and managed. It is the world's oldest building a university that has been specially created for a sorority and was opened on 19 October 1889.

The building has seven bars, a cafeteria, a coffee shop, a Debating room, a Diniersaal, and many conference rooms that can be booked through the student clubs for events. During the Edinburgh Festival, it used by The Gilded Balloon and is one of the largest venues in the city during the Fringe Festival.

In addition to running activities of student clubs held regular events in the building. At the beginning of each academic year an orientation week ( Freshers ' Week ) offered numerous special events and so used, among other things, the entire building for a ball in the frame. In addition to the formal events in Teviot leads EUSA more informal events in Potterow by, a building that is at the other end of the Bristo Square and includes, among other things, advising offices of the student organization.
