The Acid House (film)

The Acid House is a three loosely linked episodes of existing film by Paul McGuigan, originated in Britain, from the year 1998. It is based on three short stories Granton Star Cause, A Soft Touch, and The Acid House Irvine Welshs book The Acid House. Welsh wrote this also wrote the screenplay, and is seen even in the film.

Action

  • In The Granton Star Cause Boab Coyle is thrown by the coach of the football team. After his father is out the door and his girlfriend makes up with him. Boab leaves out his frustrations at a phone booth and lands for a night in jail. The next day he loses his job. Coyle gets drunk and meets in the pub on a person who calls himself God. Coyle is transformed by him into a fly.
  • A Soft Touch is about Johnny, who is betrayed and exploited by his wife.
  • In The Acid House Coco Brice exchanged during an LSD trips his body with a newborn after he is struck by lightning.

Criticism

The lexicon of the International film judges that it is " content, stylistically and qualitatively very different " episodes to handle three. "Overall, " the film was " authentic and original faithfully applied " than the film version of Trainspotting. Above all, convince the second episode of the film.
