The Adicts
The Adicts (English actually addicts, German. Addicts ) is a punk band from Ipswich, United Kingdom. They were founded in 1975 and still play in their original occupation. They call themselves the longest running punk band with original line-up.
Band History
At its inception in 1975, the band initially called Afterbirth, The Pintz later. In 1977, inspired by Stanley Kubrick's film " A Clockwork Orange ", they changed their name to The Adicts. Since there was already a band called Addicts, they were just gone one d.
The members took the style and appearance, so white clothes and black and white painted faces, the "Clockwork Orange" gear around Alex. The Adicts 2009 accompanied the tour as the opening act of Die Toten Hosen in Germany.
