The Adventures of Batman

Batman with Robin the Boy Wonder is an American animated series from Filmation production company in 1968, adapts the adventures of cartoon characters Batman and Robin. It was broadcast in Germany as part of the series A case for Batman.

Production and publication

Filmation produced the series, directed by Hal Sutherland, the music was composed by John Gart. The art director was Don Christensen. The series includes 17 episodes in a season. Each episode to 30 minutes, including advertising, consists of two adventures with Batman and Robin. One of these is an interrupted by advertising two-parter to two times 6.5 minutes. The other adventure is completed in 6.5 minutes. So 34 adventures were shown in 17 episodes.

Aired the series as part of the show, The Batman / Superman Hour. At that time she was entitled Batman with Robin the Boy Wonder, ran parallel to old episodes of the series A job for Superman and The Adventures of Superboy. When the series was later repeated regardless of the show, she wore the new title The Adventures of Batman. Some years later, the series was a sequel under the title A Case for Batman ( Original title: The New Adventures of Batman ). Five episodes of the series appeared in 1985 on VHS in the Super Powers video collection.

In Germany, the series first aired from July 1, 1991 by Pro Sieben, together with the continuation as a case for Batman. This was followed by repeats at Sat.1, Junior and K- Toon.
