The Avett Brothers

The Avett Brothers are an American folk rock band from Concord, North Carolina.

Career

By 2000, Scott and Seth Avett Brothers members of the rock band Nemo, which was located in Greenville were. Even before the band broke up, the two had started together with the band guitarist John Twomey a side project. The Back Door Project has produced an album that was released under the title The Avett Brothers. Under this name they made after the end of Nemo on, with bassist Bob Crawford Twomey replaced.

In the following years, the trio published in clock more albums and the three musicians had to do work in other projects: Crawford with New Jersey Transient, Seth Avett solo under the name Darling and the brothers live together as Oh What a Nightmare.

Her breakthrough as Avett Brothers they had with their 2007 album Emotionalism, with whom she first arrived in the U.S. charts. Then they got a record deal with major label Sony BMG / Columbia. In autumn 2009, their first album I and Love and You by Rick Rubin produced there appeared.
