The Barbra Streisand Album is the title of the first solo studio album by Barbra Streisand. The album was released on 25 February 1963 in the United States. Barbra Streisand recorded eleven standards. The LP was equally well received by audiences and critics in 1964 and received three Grammy Awards - Album of the Year, Singer of the Year, Best Album Cover. The album peaked in the U.S. in eighth place as the highest placement. Fully Coupled singles were not successful. The album was recorded in the U.S. with a gold record.
