The Book of Pooh

Winnie the Pooh 's picture book ( in the original The Book of Pooh ) is an American animated series based on the book Winnie the Pooh by Alan Alexander Milne.

Action

Main characters of the series are known from Milne's books as well as the animated series The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Owl and the little bird Kessie. The characters experience exciting and fun adventure in the Hundred Acre Wood, which are backed by singing and dancing. It is clear that the adventure stories come from a book that is in Christopher Robin's room. Christopher Robin's face is never seen in the series.

There are some deviations from the conditions in Milne's stories, for example, seems to like honey Tigger and Rabbit lives in a tree.

The series is computer - animated.

Awards

2002 won the series the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Directing in a Children's Series.
