The Bridge is a Canadian television series commissioned by CTV and CBS.

Content

Frank Leo leans on as a simple patrolman a North American city with large contrasts between rich and poor, separated by a bridge, against grievances and problems within the police and the police administration. After he was unanimously elected new head of the police union, he's on the scene when police are in trouble.

Production

The Bridge is a production of E1 Entertainment, 990 Multi Media Entertainment Company and Jonsworth Productions for the Canadian station CTV and the U.S. television network CBS. The two-hour pilot, the sequences 1 and 2, was appointed in 2008 by CTV, CBS as I rose in a Flashpoint with. The film was shot in Toronto. Production was financially supported by the Canadian Television Fund.

A fictitious TV by the Numbers press release from the Canadian TV Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Canadian TV Foreign Ministry ) states that the broadcast had violated on Saturday against international television etiquette. This press release was reproduced in part, without comment. Due to the poor rates presented CBS broadcast of The Bridge after a third episode.

The German Original Air Date was from 3 to September 12, 2012 at the pay- TV channel 13th Street.

Reception

The pilot episode received good reviews for the performers and the production, but the action is designated especially for the length of two ( television ) hours as overloaded.
