The Conduit

The Conduit is a first person shooter for Wii based on the Quantum3 game engine.

Action

The Conduit takes place in Washington, D.C. a near future. The earth is there attacked by aliens, called Faktoten ( in the narrow. Drudge original ). The player takes on the role of Agent Michael Ford, who on behalf of John Adams, the head of a secret organization, the so-called syndicate ( in the narrow. Original Trust), to try to stop the terrorists Prometheus, which among other things to be responsible for the invasion. However, doing so, he uncovers a vast conspiracy. An important key element of the game is the All- Seeing Eye (ASA ), a mobile high -tech device with which Ford among others different console hacking, open hidden doors, and even can defuse mines invisible.

Synchronization

In the German version is still the English dubbing to hear, but a German subtitle is available. The player character Agent Michael Ford is spoken by Mark Sheppard, whose father William Morgan Sheppard says Ford's supervisor John Adams. The terrorist Prometheus is spoken by Kevin Sorbo.

Reviews

The Conduit received mostly positive, but not outstanding reviews. Praised be above all the control and multiplayer modes. The single player mission is about 8 hours of play time too short and consists of elements that are already well known to other games.
