The Dogma

The Dogma is a power metal band from Ancona in Italy.

Band History

1999, first met Cosimo Binetti (guitar), Daniele Santori (vocals) and Stefano Smeriglio (keyboard), which a few years later The Dogma founded.

At a funeral of a friend learned Cosimo Binetti randomly singer Daniele Santori know, who was then working at the cemetery. Because they realized that they were both musicians, they decided together to do something.

At the police station of Ancona Cosimo met the keyboardist Stefano Smeriglio. With the drummer Giuseppe Chirico and bassist Steve Vawamas, an old friend of Binetti, the band was complete.

2001 founded the five band members The Dogma and even played in the same year their first shows. A year later, their first demo was released with the title " Symphonies of Love and Hate", which are particularly sold by mail order in Germany well.

In Drakkar Entertainment they got a record deal and went in the summer of 2005 the Woodhouse Studio to Hagen to record their first album "Black Roses ", which was produced by Siggi Bemm. Immediately before the first day of admission to drummer Marco Bianchella had his knee badly injured in a car accident, after which Mike Terrana was dazugeholt as a substitute. In March 2006, the first album was released.

Steve Vawamas soon left the band and joined The Dogma 2006 Masso as the new bass player in Germany, Italy, Austria and Switzerland as the opening act Lordi on. In December, the recordings for the new album began "A Good Day To Die ", which was released on April 27, 2007.
