The Fates
As a goddess of fate is known in mythology, a personification of " fate ", " destiny " and similar concepts as a female deity. Very often this is not done in the form of a single deity, but by a trinity of goddesses of fate or destiny women.
The Fates are:
- In Greek mythology the Fates, Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos and Moira as the embodiment of a person assigned ( more or less equitable ) fate. The man can rebel against this destiny and becomes the tragic hero.
- Ananke, the fate which may not necessarily meet
- Heimarmene, the inescapable, compelling fate
- Tyche, the blind Wielding random
- The Fates, according to the Greek Fates
- Fortuna, happiness, comparable to the Greek Tyche in shape as Agathos Tyche ( "better chance" ).
