The First Family (album)

The First Family is an American comedy album by Vaughn Meader from the year 1962. Parodied it in short scenes of just under three minutes, the life of the president's family to John F. Kennedy. The comedian and impersonator Vaughn Meader votes conceived the album, saying it the correspondence to John F. Kennedy.

A sequel to the Grammy -winning work, which also included music was withdrawn from the market after the Kennedy assassination, as well as the album itself, which was then no longer decades on the market. There is now a CD and an MP3 version.

Achievements

The album was to be by then most and the fastest-selling record in the history of the record industry, and received two Grammy Awards in 1963 for best album and the best comedy performance of the year.

In the first two weeks of release, the album sold more than one million copies. The end of 1962 and beginning of 1963 the album a total of 12 weeks was number one on the album charts Billboard 200
