The Futureheads is the debut album of the same name British indie rock band The Futureheads.

Information

The album was produced by Andy Gill, the guitarist of the band Gang of Four, and Paul Epworth. It was released on 12 July 2004 in the UK and on 26 October 2004 in the United States. Published in 2005 a limited edition with two bonus tracks and a DVD. On the Japanese edition, the title Remote Control and Man Made (A Mistake ) were besides the two bonus songs, Radiomixe Decent Days and Nights and Hounds of Love, in addition. The cover image was inspired by the painting " Lonely Man " by the artist Damien Poulain. The title Hounds of Love is a cover from the album of the same name published in 1985 Hounds of Love singer Kate Bush.

Achievements

The Futureheads reached # 11 in the UK album charts. Most successful single from the album was the cover version of Hounds of Love, which made ​​it to eighth place. The other Singles First Day (# 58) Decent Days and Nights (# 26) and Mean Time (# 49) went into the UK singles charts.
