The Gentrys were a beat band from Memphis, Tennessee, USA.
Band History
The Gentrys were founded in 1963 in Memphis. Within a short time they earned with numerous performances at high school dances the reputation of the most popular teen band in the area. In 1965 she got a record deal and their first single, Sometimes appeared. The song was a regional success, but the published end of 1965 song Keep On Dancing achieved a million-seller. It should be the only one, although the group still remained together until 1971, with interruptions.
Singer James "Jimmy" Hart is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, and under the name " Mouth of the South" as a wrestling manager active.
